Iran will enjoy 25 Public, National, and Bank holidays in 2013. Public holidays in Iran are based on Solar Calendar (the official Persian Calendar) such as Norooz (the Persian new year), or Lunar Calendar for religious Islamic holidays such as Mawlid ul-Nabi and Eid ul-Fitr. Friday is the day of the weekend in Iran, but Banks, Government and Public Organizations closed on Thursday too.
Please not the dates of the Islamic holidays downbelow can not be predicted precisely in advance and that’s because they follow the moon citations of the Lunar Calendar.
We hope that you will enjoy your 2013 Iranian holidays, and remember to book for hotels or flights in advance for a cheaper bargain, since last min bookings can go really high.
