The Taj Mahal monument is  undoubtedly the most famous and visited tourist attractions in India. Taj Mahal was built by an emperor in memory of his late wife after her death while giving birth to his fourteenth child. This site is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site, this monument is a walled city built using red sandstone in the sixteenth century.  The site is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, just about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal.

The Harmandir Sahib, also known as the golden temple, is another spectacular building in India. In Sikhism, this golden building is the holiest shrine in the religion, for it was here the holy scripture of Sikhism was competed, and it is here present the most holy text of Sikhism. The golden temple was mainly constructed for a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally. This site is located in Amritsar, India.

The The Bahá’í House of Worship, also known as the Lotus Temple because of its lotus flower shape, is a popular site for its remarkable architecture. The site is located in New Delhi, India.

The India gate, this national monument is a war memorial. It was build in memory for the soldiers of the Indian Army who lost their lives while fighting the British Raj, in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. This site is found at the crossroads of a number of Delhi’s main streets.

The statue of Gomateshwara monument was built in the 10th century and was voted by residents as one of the 7 wonders o f India (49% votes went in favor of this marvel), found in Shravanabelagola this statue is an important site for members of the Jane faith. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims, devotees and tourists from all over the world flock to the statue once in 12 years for an event known as Mahamastakabhisheka. This site is located in Shravanabelagola, Karnataka state, India.
